Second episode of Scotland's Music aired 10 November 2007. John performs Hurt In Your Heart in the studio live, with band member Foster Paterson, Alan Thomson and Arran Ahmun.
The recording was made early April 2007 in Glasgow.
John gets emotionally upset during the performance, which kind of proves Phil Cunningham's point that it is impossible to separate John, the music and the emotion.
Scotland's Music is a great series of one hour documentaries presented by virtuoso accordion player Phil Cunningham. He travels through Scotland and other parts of the world, visiting musical friends and exploring what makes Scotland's music tick.
