John appeared in Pop Quiz twice as a panel member in a BBC show called Pop Quiz, hosted by Mike Read. The quiz was about pop and rock & roll music since 1955.
This episode was John's first time. He and Stephen Luscombe were in the team of captain Roger Taylor, and had to compete against Hank Marvin (captain), Nick Lowe and Suzi Quatro.
