ABERDEEN UNIVERSITY Folk Club, who last week brought to the Union a number of top- class performers in different branches of folk music and, according to Treasurer Neil Cameron, may even have made a slight profit on them, are to continue the good work this term.

A rave is in store for Glasgow's folk and blues fans in the Woodside Halls tomorrow night. The star of the show, titled BLUES FOLK, is John Martyn, a young Glasgow singer-composer whose songs have made a big impact on the national folk scene. Many well-known performers including Julie Felix are considering John's songs as possible recording material.
